FIELD TRIPS
Student body funds are used to provide field trips for all our students. Every grade level plans a field trip once per year. In addition teachers write grants and some students have the opportunity to go to additional sites such as the Getty Museum. Each classroom is allowed to take two parent volunteers to assist with supervision. Parent volunteers have to be approved by the volunteer office and the school in order to attend a field trip. As an instructional activity only specific classrooms and selected parents can participate. Volunteer parents must ride in the bus.
